How we earn
When you click a link from SkillSniff to a platform and create an account there, the platform may pay us a commission. The amount varies by platform and by the promotion in effect at the time. Sometimes it’s a one-time payment; sometimes it’s a share of your activity over a period. You don’t pay anything extra — the commission comes out of the platform’s marketing spend.
What it changes about our coverage
Nothing. Which platforms we cover, the order they appear on our rankings, the scores we give them, and what we say about them are decisions made by our editorial team using the criteria on our Review Methodology page. Commercial relationships sit completely outside that process.
Here’s the honest version: we benefit when readers find platforms they enjoy and stick with. We don’t benefit when readers sign up for platforms that disappoint them — those readers don’t come back and they tell their friends not to either. So the incentives line up. Honest reviewing is also our long-term commercial interest.

Platforms we cover without partnership
We cover some platforms we don’t earn from. We do this when a platform is significant enough that our readers will run into it whether we cover it or not. Those reviews are flagged at the top so you know there’s no commercial tie.
